The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc)
The Institute is the largest independent professional membership and educational body within the cleaning industry. Founded in 1961, its mission is 'the Natural Choice for Education within the Cleaning Industry'.
BICSc is an independent body with members in all areas of the cleaning industry, including local authorities, contract cleaners, educational establishments, manufacturers, suppliers, trainers and cleaning operatives themselves. Membership currently stands at over 5,000 Individual and Corporate Members.
The Institute's Committees set the standards and develop the skills programmes necessary for the Institute's range of workplace-based certified assessment schemes for cleaning operators, food premises, cleaning supervisors, healthcare, sanitary cleaning and car valeting.

Dougland is a leading UK independent cleaning services company. We are experts at providing cleaning services in the public circulation, transport, leisure, commercial and food hygiene sectors.
Public Circulation
We are experts in maintaining shopping centres, areas of high traffic flow such as airports and office complexes to the highest standards.
Transport
Our transport arm is actively involved with TfL the local government body responsible for London transport. We maintain bus stands and stations within the M25 including Victoria Coach Station in the heart of London.
Leisure
We carry out a national contract for a well regarded leisure house where we perform all cleaning functions including daily, periodics, kitchen hygiene, filter and extract cleaning for over 130 sites nationally.
Commercial
We have numerous commercial clients where we perform all the cleaning requirements for their property portfolio, including asset properties for Managing Agents and Owners.
Food Hygiene
