Award Details

The objective of the 2007/2008 Building Cleanability Awards is to promote an increased awareness of the cleaning needs and cleanability issues relevant to all commercial and public buildings, at all stages of design, construction and operational management.

Entry

Any commercial or public building in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland of any age, with an internal floor exceeding 5000 square metres is eligible for entry in the 2007/2008 Building Cleanability Awards. [More ...]

Buildings will be visited and assessed against a range of external and internal criteria. [More ...]

Awards Recognition

Every entry in the 2007/2008 Building Cleanability Awards will receive a detailed inspection visit, followed by a Cleanability Grading Assessment Certificate.

Each entry category will have a National Winner and there will be an overall Gold, Silver and Bronze Award Winner.

There will be Special Awards to New Build and Refurbishment projects - both completed within the previous 12 months and The Brian Cole Environmental Award - for the building judged to be the most 'environmentally friendly'.
